Meet the Doula and Birth Educator...
Hi. My name is Melanie Brindle. I began working with pregnant women when I became a certified massage therapist in January 2000. I loved doing prenatal massage so much that I became very interested in holistic healthcare and natural childbirth. I soon trained as a doula in March 2000 and expanded my practice to help women as a labor support professional. I have been working on and off as a doula since that time, only taking time off to have two beautiful boys of my own. In January 2004, I became certified as a childbirth educator. I now teach childbirth classes regularly, focusing on helping women achieve the goal of an un-medicated, natural childbirth. As a doula, I have had experience with home, hospital and clinic births.
